This was one of our favorite dumplings we tasted. I would recommend getting it with the chili sauce, chives, and cilantro on top. This really gave it an extra tasty kick. Dumplings were right out of the fry pan so were very hot being served.
Good food served up by very experienced and very Chinese staff. They do understand a bit of English, but expect a mostly Chinese speaking clientele. Don't expect any fancy decor, etc...; and it is for that reason I gave it 5* for atmosphere.
Good dumplings. The skin was a bit too thick and doughy. Spicy Vegan Beef was worth trying. The highlight is the chili oil with scallions and cilantro.
Delicious and simple ! Very affordable , cash only. I had the noodles which were amazing! Hand rolled and then cooked fresh. I sat with others at communal tables and it was great fun. The dumplings looked amazing too.
5-stars for the $1.50 lemon honey tea, and my tasty pork and cabbage dumplings. While it wasn’t fast service (I had to wait 15 minutes after ordering), I feel the prices were fair and my food was tasty.
Vanessa’s Dumpling never disappoint . Veggie sandwich is the best with a coconut bubble tea yum! . Prices increased ???? the only sad part. Well It’s hard get good food for a reasonable price in NYC this days . Love city art in the restroom ???? …
Really great food at a great price. The only down side is people begging inside the shop, but overall a very good place to grab an affordable bite in Chinatown.
Very good dumplings. Insanely good price for Manhattan. We paid less than $25 for 3 orders of pork/veg dumplings and pork/veg sandwich in Aug/'24. Best part was that the dumplings were very good. Must go spot anytime in in NYC.
I stumbled in here while waiting on my bus to Richmond, and it didn't disappoint. A menu filled with different dumplings from pork save chives, seafood, and vegetables. Different sauces to try spicy, soy. They have smoothies as well and a variety of boba teas. I got the passion fruit green tea and it was so refreshing and tasty. The spicy pork and chives were also pretty decent cones with 8 for a small price of $5.50 you can't beat that. They have a small seating area inside so you can dine in or take out.
